But then, a few days later, Sara got some bad news to tell her parents from Dhani. Dhani had called her about his dad’s condition and it was pretty sad when Dhani told her that George had died quietly in his sleep while he was in the hospital after he had taken his medicine for his Lung Cancer. While he was sleeping, he didn’t feel it and he died. But he died peacefully.

So Sara got up the courage and told her parents. Her parents were pretty upset about it but they said that she could go to the funeral if she wanted to because they knew how much George meant to her.

So when the day came she went with Dhani and Olivia to the funeral home for the funeral. When the service started, she started crying as Olivia did. Dhani had to calm both of them down at the same time but it was natural.

But soon after they were well into the service, Sara went outside and quietly hoped and prayed that he would always watch over everybody and still made peaceful music for those who went with him. Then, silently she sung his songs that she knew by heart. But when she was singing ‘Give Me Love’ and she swore that she could hear his voice singing alongside hers.

When she turned around, she saw Dhani singing. Of course she thought that it was George himself but she always thought that Dhani took after him in the musical sense. And she loved them both for what they have done for her. So when she ended the song, Dhani went over to her and he said, “You have a lovely voice and you always will no matter what. If my dad was here right now, he would be very proud. Proud of us. Proud of our accomplishments. He would be proud of everything we have done. I love you. He loves you. We wouldn’t have anyone better than you.”

“I know that but it’s just that I really do wish that he could be here with us right now and stay but he’s not. I guess that I miss him like you and your mom do.”

“Yeah but you were crying harder than I had ever seen you cry luv. You miss him a lot more than we do. We’ll never forget him.”

Then a few years later, Dhani and Sara got married and bought a house in Liverpool. The one next to George’s childhood house. They picked this house so they would be closer to George than ever before. Olivia, still a widow, got George’s childhood house.

Time and time again, George’s older sister, Dhani and Sara’s aunt came to visit them from her home in Benton, Illinois.
